Hawksbury Community Living Trust provides quality residential support for people with intellectual disabilities. With a wide range of residential homes in Christchurch, Kaiapoi and Mosgiel that offer independent community-focused environments, we proudly support people with intellectual disabilities to achieve their life choices.

We are currently seeking an experienced full-time House Manager, for our high-health-needs home.

A previous background in nursing or other relevant healthcare profession is preferred.

This role works 80 hours per fortnight, including:

  • Week 1: Tuesday - Saturday 7am - 3pm (Sunday/Mondays off)
  • Week 2: Tuesday - Saturday 3pm - 11pm (Sunday/Mondays off)

You'll lead by example, guiding and supporting staff to deliver and embrace Hawkesbury's values which enable residents to live their life their way. Your willingness to work alongside your team being hands-on with personal care and household tasks is essential, as is your skills and knowledge in enriching our resident's holistic health and wellbeing.

As the House Manager, you will also be responsible for managing staff, rosters, finances and developing new ways to promote independence and choice. Liaising with family/whanau and external providers to maximise independence while ensuring you meet the needs of each resident is also an important aspect of this role.

The salary band for this role is between $65k - $70k depending on experience.
